About Us

Energise FC team
Energise FC was established in 2009, as an extension of Grace Assembly Church Youth Group Ministry and part of the Community Programme in Norbury. The Group is run by Volunteers, Football Coaches, Life skill teachers and also Mentors.

In 2009, Fabian Baynes started the program in Norbury Park south London. Due to the success of the programme, Energise FC now has 7 full time volunteer staff members and it’s growing . Football training sessions are held every Thursday evening and match days take place on Saturdays. Once a month the boys are taken through life skills at the Harris Sports academy in Morden, undertaking life skill's teaching in line with the Duck of Edinburgh Awards. We also have partners that we work with to help communities abroad. These groups are Samaritans Box and Urban saints Rebuild. These 2 groups help to empower young people and to let them see the world from a new perspective.

We are also offering the Duke of Edinburgh Awards which will give your child’s UCAS form for University more recognition as the award is highly thought of. Energise FC now has an under 13 team which plays in the Saturday League (LCSYFL). We still cater for ages from 5 -18 years old and with all different abilities.

Every year each age group is taken to Tournaments around England which helps them to test their abilities in a real competitive game and gives the Players a chance to assess what they have learned from Saturday training and takes them out of their comfort zone (out of London).

Transforming young lives through football!
